Wie sollte ich mich auf den DELF-B1-Hörtest vorbereiten?
Bevor du sonst etwas tust, stell sicher, dass du wirklich auf B1-Niveau bist und nicht noch auf A2. Du musst B1 nicht perfekt beherrschen, aber du solltest dich mittendrin wohlfühlen. Wenn dir die meisten Videos und Übungen viel zu schnell vorkommen, geh eine Weile auf ein niedrigeres Niveau zurück, trainier dort dein Gehör und komm dann wieder zurück.
Im Test selbst musst du nicht jedes Wort verstehen. Geprüft wird, ob du der Situation gefolgt bist: wer spricht, was die Person will, die Hauptaussage und ein paar wichtige Details. Du siehst die Fragen, bevor jede Aufnahme beginnt, also nutze diese Zeit. Lies jede Frage und frag dich, worauf du achten musst. Ein Grund? Eine Zahl? Ein Problem? Die Meinung von jemandem?
Wähle Videos passend zu deinem Niveau
Die Videos, mit denen du übst, sollten genau auf deinem Niveau liegen. Wenn sie voller Slang und schneller Witze sind, verwirren sie dich mehr, als dass sie dir helfen. Hier ist, wie sich jedes Niveau anhört, damit du erkennst, wo du stehst und worauf du achten solltest.
A1: Du verstehst langsame, einfache Sätze über den Alltag, wie Familie, Freunde, Schule, Hobbys und die Dinge um dich herum. Du erkennst Zahlen, Uhrzeiten und klare Durchsagen, wie die Zeiten in einer Bahnhofsdurchsage. Auf diesem Niveau wähl Videos mit Zahlen und Uhrzeiten, und übe, einzelne Alltagswörter herauszuhören, noch nicht ganze Sätze.
A2: Du verstehst Wörter und Wendungen zu deinen unmittelbaren Bedürfnissen, wie Familie, Einkaufen, Wegbeschreibungen, Arbeit, Sport, Kochen und Essengehen. Wähl Videos über Familie und den Alltag um dich herum.
B1, dein Niveau: Du verstehst das meiste, solange die Leute Standardfranzösisch sprechen. Slang hilft dir hier nicht, er steht nur im Weg. Du kannst den wichtigsten Punkten folgen, wenn jemand eine Geschichte erzählt, eine Situation erklärt oder eine Meinung äußert. Wähl Videos, in denen Leute Geschichten erzählen, Dinge erklären oder eine Meinung zu Alltagsthemen teilen, mit etwas mehr Detail als bei A2.
B2, dein nächstes Ziel: Du bist fast selbstständig und folgst einer breiten Palette an Themen, einschließlich Argumenten für und gegen etwas. Wenn du bereit für mehr bist, geh weiter zu Debatten, Dokumentationen und Diskussionen über echte Themen, dazu längere und reichhaltigere Geschichten als bei B1.
Du hörst jede Aufnahme zweimal
Nutze das erste Anhören für den groben Sinn. Wer spricht? Wo befinden sich die Personen? Klingen sie fröhlich, genervt oder besorgt, oder geben sie einen Rat? Wenn ein Wort vorbeizieht, das du nicht kennst, hör einfach weiter zu. Sehr oft kommt die Antwort aus der ganzen Situation, nicht aus diesem einen Wort.
Nutze das zweite Anhören für die Details: Namen, Zahlen, Uhrzeiten, Gründe und die kleinen Unterschiede zwischen den Antwortmöglichkeiten. Sei vorsichtig bei einer Antwort, die ein gehörtes Wort wiederholt, aber nicht zur Bedeutung passt. Die Fragen prüfen oft, ob du die Idee verstanden hast, nicht ob du ein Wort wiedererkannt hast.
Achte auf „nicht“, Korrekturen und Verbindungswörter
Hier gehen leicht Punkte verloren. Die Aufnahme sagt selten „Isabelle ist Friseurin.“ Sie sagt „Isabelle ist nicht Friseurin, sie ist Taxifahrerin.“ Wenn du das „nicht“ überhörst, wählst du die falsche Antwort mit voller Überzeugung. Trainier dein Ohr auf die kleinen Wörter, die einen Satz umdrehen: „ne... pas“, „mais“, „en fait“, „pas du tout“ und „au contraire“.
Die Verbindungswörter sind genauso wichtig, und sie sind es wirklich, die A2 von B1 unterscheiden. Sie zeigen dir, warum etwas passiert ist, wozu es geführt hat und was jemand vorhatte. Lern, „pourtant“, „en revanche“, „du coup“, „en réalité“ und „alors“ herauszuhören, und eine lange Aufnahme hört auf, eine Wand aus Wörtern zu sein. Du beginnst, ihrer Struktur zu folgen: Das hier ist die Ursache, das die Folge, und hier dreht der Sprecher um und sagt das Gegenteil.

Das Transkript hilft sehr, aber in der echten Prüfung bekommst du keins. Öffne es deshalb erst, wenn du die Aufgabe ehrlich versucht hast.
Führ eine Fehlerliste
Schreib nach jeder Übung auf, was schiefgelaufen ist, nicht nur die neuen Wörter. Hast du die Meinung des Sprechers verpasst? Zwei ähnliche Antwortmöglichkeiten verwechselt? Eine Zahl falsch gehört? Ein „nicht“ oder eine Korrektur übersehen? Die Wörter verstanden, aber nicht die Situation? Zehn Übungen mit ehrlichen Notizen bringen dir mehr als dreißig in Eile erledigte.
Eine gute Woche kombiniert beides. Schau an den meisten Tagen echtes Französisch auf deinem Niveau, um dein Gehör zu trainieren, und mach zwei- bis dreimal pro Woche eine vollständige offizielle Hörübung, um dich an die Prüfung zu gewöhnen. Das gibt dir ein stärkeres Gehör und die Prüfungstechnik, die beiden Dinge, die dieser Test belohnt. Wähl deine Videos also mit Sorgfalt, hab Geduld mit dir und hab Spaß dabei.

Der Hörteil (compréhension de l’oral) besteht aus drei Aufnahmen und dauert rund 25 Minuten. Jede Aufnahme wird zweimal abgespielt, mit einer kurzen Pause zwischen den zwei Durchgängen. Hier ist, was du hörst:

Welches Niveau und wie viele Wörter brauche ich?
Beim Hören brauchst du viel weniger Wörter als beim Lesen. Forschungen zeigen, dass rund 3.000 häufige Wörter etwa 95% normaler Alltagssprache abdecken, und die ersten 1.000 Wörter decken den größten Teil dessen ab, was Menschen sagen.
Video ist der einfachste Weg zu verstehen, weil die Bilder dir helfen, die Bedeutung zu erraten. Du brauchst also keinen sehr großen Wortschatz. Du brauchst die häufigen Wörter und viel Hörübung auf deinem Niveau.

Mit welchen Videos sollte ich mich auf das Hören bei DELF B1 vorbereiten?

Wird das DELF-B1-Höraudio einmal oder zweimal abgespielt?
Zweimal. Beim DELF-B1-Hörtest wird jede Aufnahme zweimal abgespielt, mit einer kurzen Pause dazwischen, sodass du eine zweite Chance hast, die Details zu verstehen. Das ist anders als bei manchen anderen Prüfungen, bei denen das Audio nur einmal abgespielt wird.
Reicht B1 für den französischen Aufenthalt oder die Staatsbürgerschaft?
Seit Januar 2026 wird B1 für die langfristige französische Aufenthaltserlaubnis (carte de résident) verlangt. Für die französische Staatsbürgerschaft liegt die Anforderung höher, bei rund B2. Solche Regeln können sich ändern, deshalb prüfe die aktuelle Regel bei den offiziellen französischen Behörden, bevor du eine Prüfung buchst.
Wie lange dauert es, B1 im Hören zu erreichen?
Das hängt davon ab, wie viel du hörst und wie nah deine Muttersprache dem Französischen ist. Eine feste Zahl gibt es nicht. Das Nützlichste, was du tun kannst, ist, regelmäßig echtes Französisch auf deinem Niveau zu hören, jeden Tag ein bisschen.
Kann ich mich kostenlos vorbereiten?
Ja. Die prüfungsnächste kostenlose Übung sind die offiziellen DELF-B1-Musterprüfungen, bei denen du die echten Höraufgaben ausprobieren kannst.
